Tuesday April 16, 2019 – Peruvian journalist Carlos Lozada (47) wins the prestigious Pulitzer Prize 2019 category “Book Criticism”. Lozada writes since 2005 in the The Washington Post USA newspaper and his work stands out for his deep criticism of books and political discourse.
Carlos was born and raised in Lima until finishing high school. Then his family emigrated to the United States to the state of California.
He graduated in Economics and Political Science from the University of Notre Dame 1993. In 1997, he graduated from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University with a master’s degree in Public Administration.
